Dirt Bike Gas Mileage

You just got a new dirt bike with a really advanced four stroke engine that burns fuel very efficiently and you wonder what kind of gas mileage you are getting. Like most dirt bikes your new machine has no odometer to record the miles traveled. So you fashion a small magnetic device on rear fork that counts each revolution of the rear wheel. The rear tire’s outside diameter is 26 inches. You ride for an hour and refill the gas tank -- it takes a perfect half gallon. The number of revolutions on the rear tire is 46,565.
